St Leonards

The St Leonards project for Sovereign Housing Association was a complex project on the site of a derelict former Second World War military hospital, and included 210 new homes and a wildlife habitat to protect threatened species that were once common on this now neglected land.

Acquired from the NHS Drew Smith worked with Sovereign to deliver 210 mixture tenure houses and flats within the heart of this conservation site. This project also delivered a great range of areas for the community including a cricket pavilion, recreation spaces and also took great care to preserve the existing habitats of the heathland and grassland within the nature reserve.

This project saw the first open market sale delivery for Sovereign Housing Association and Drew Smith worked collaboratively with their respect sales and housing delivery teams to provide appropriate phased delivery and show homes to support to their sales activity.
