Drew Smith Team Take the Zip Wire Challenge for Charity!

A team from Drew Smith have taken on the Bournemouth zip wire challenge to raise awareness and funds for Macmillan this weekend. The team of ten launched themselves from the 25 metre tall tower and “zip surfed” 250 metres over the waves to the beach below.

Vicky Eagle, Marketing Manager at Drew Smith said: “It was great to get the team together on what turned out to be a beautiful morning in Bournemouth. There were a few nervous wobbles at the top but all ten made it down and completed the challenge which was a huge achievement.

We want to help this incredible charity change people’s lives with cancer and allow them to live as fully as they can as part of the work we are doing for Zoe’s Legacy.”

Drew Smith launched the Zoe’s Legacy after they lost a colleague to eye cancer in 2021. As part of this project the team have committed to raising £5000 through various activities and challenges.
