The Drew Smith 2022 Schools Competition is Here!

Drew Smith are calling on school children across the South to design their perfect wildlife garden in a bid to win £500 towards their own school’s wildlife area. The competition, open to children 11 and under has asked children to design the perfect garden to attract wildlife.

Each school can download their garden template from the Drew Smith website as well as information on what can make the perfect garden to attract wildlife.

Vicky Eagle, Marketing Manager at Drew Smith said; “It’s so important for children to learn how to make their outdoor space more appealing to wildlife with many of us spending more and more time outdoors. It can add to the excitement to see bees, birds and butterflies sharing the spaces with us.

We hope that the skills they learn through entering our competition can be taken home to benefit their own outdoor space No matter what size of outside space you have there are endless ways to make your balcony bloom or your back yard filled with creepy crawlies.

I am really excited to see the entries as they come in.”

Children can create their designs as part of their class or take it home to do with their parents or guardian using the template provided in the application pack.

More information about creating a wildlife garden and details on how to get involved can be found here – www.drewsmithhomes.co.uk/competition
